Last Horror/Thriller Film Watched?

Started by MildPossession31 pages

Not a film, but I've been watching the British horror series called Urban Gothic, I got the second series on dvd free and it's absolutely rubbish, no wonder I didn't bother with it when the first series was shown years ago...

Drag me to hell.

Hang me, Screamers 2. And it surprisingly was not quite bad at all actually

Night Train
Dorothy Mills

Both were decent.

The Strain by Del Toro is pretty much Bram Stoker's Dracula set in todays time.

Fright Night 👆

I Spit on Your Grave 👆 (second death = so epic)

Watching night train now, can't get over how hot Leelee Sobieski is.

Feels like a comedy at times though.....

Screamers.

Catacombs, if it can even be considered a horror movie.

I hated that movie.

Black Christmas (original). I liked it a lot. Wasn't too happy with the ending, but I enjoyed it. First phone call, oooh, some odd shit, enough to give any girl the chills.

Drag Me to Hell was excellent, dunno why anyone would hate it.

Loved that one.

Sleepaway Camp
Started and continued to be your standard sub par slasher fair, seemingingly more predictable. The ending makes this movie. I enjoyed it.

Ending of Sleepaway Camp is excellent.

I like the part near the ending when they find out where the

Spoiler:
phone calls are coming from,
really really creepy.

Going to see Black Christmas tomorrow.

Finished the remake of "Last house on the left"

Not nearly as great as the original, but still a decent movie.

Saw The Signal last night, turned out to be nothing special. I realise what they were trying to do with the separate sections and so on, but it was quite messy and the film didn't know what it was. They should have stuck with full on Horror with some comedic moments if needed, or Horror/Comedy(like the middle section of this film).

Disappointing.

Pontypool - Watch this if you like proper horror movies.

Long Weekend (2008) - Jamie Blanks' shot for shot, word for word remake. Was decent.

I should be seeing Pontypool this week, looks forwards to it. Jaden made a topic on it if anyone else wants information on it.

Babysitter wanted started out fairly strong but took a left turn into the ridiculous territory. I wouldn't suggest watching that one. Some may dig the twist but i thought it was stupid.

I saw this last night, what a lot of rubbish. And yes it did indeed take a ridiculous turn and just soooooooooo cheesy and indeed stupid. Plus it wasn't exactly hard to figure out. Knew

Spoiler:
the parents were dodgy from the start
.

It would have been better if they didn't show the bit before the starting credits. Oh and a different film title.

I think if it had stronger acting, the lead girl was terrible, all the above I mentioned, and the reveal of

Spoiler:
the boy/Sam
done differently instead of cheesy
Spoiler:
devil's horns
, then it would have been better.

Also watched Dorothy Mills, I enjoyed this but it could have been so much more.

Also, the lead actress(Psychiatrist), was she suppose to have an Irish accent? it sounded terrible, they should have just kept her Dutch like she is in real life. One thing that spoilt it because she is a brilliant actress.

It was good, but they totally advertised this film wrong, it's made to look more full on horror than it actually is.
