Any halfwit with a Word-of-the-Day calendar can build a vocabulary sufficient to fabricate a facade of intelligence. More telling than his vocabulary, though, is the quickness with which our buddy spetz saw fit to back out of our discussion on the many flaws with his argument and retreat to more solid ground.
Per your posts: Any halfwit with a Word-of-the-Day calendar can build a vocabulary sufficient to fabricate a facade of intelligence.
Seeing your use of 'erudition, astute and pedantry,' I would have to fully agree with what you said. Any halftwit with a word-of-the-day calender (or in your case an online dictionary with a broadband connection to the imageshack resource) can fabricate a facade of intelligence.
Although commonsense would be better, particularly when one accuses people of using a thesaurus (even when they do not need to), and then proceeds to, erm what did you say, 'bombard people with calculated pedantry.'
