Gladiator vs Wonder Woman

My contention is that Gladiator hasn't fought anyone who actually blocks his punches. Not that i've seen. WW can block 90% of his punches and he would be doing NO dmg. how would you feel if you were one of the most powerful guys in the galaxy and you hit a chick and she blocks your punches? And when you do connect, you can't knock her out. And how about when that chick starts pwning you with strength to match your own, skill that makes her every blow connect, and she's even able to return your own laser vision back at you. Talk about low confidence. his sperm count would even go down ****ing with Wonder Woman.

That becuz I'm not racist.

Spare me. As if the mere thought of Gladiator's colored skin doesn't make your neck hairs stand in irrational rage.

😕 I'm colored.

It seems unlikely that the far slower combatant would be capable of commanding such control over the fight.

Purple?

A self-loathing bigot.

The worst kind.

Far slower? You do realize that to enter the speed force, one has to go super luminal right? that's like Warp speed beyond. And Just so that you understand that It isn't like going light speed or beyond it's like far faster. The Flash beat instantaneous travel and didn't go into the speed force. And In a fist fight, which is what this would come down to, I can pull a many a scan of Ww blocking all kinds of things. And not just one or two. I'm talking heavy duty things repeatedly over and over without tiring. I really think you don't own any wonder woman comics. Or very few. WW was able to knock over ARES.

no. as superiority. he didnt have to punch the planet to get rid of it.

Yeah... I actually have to agree with KK on this one. In that scan, it looks like Supes had help from technology to pull that off.

Even if he didn't, all he really did there was match a specific vibrational frequency.

Are you really going to argue this? Seriously?

Gladiator routinely zips from galaxy to galaxy at far beyond lightspeed damn near every time he appears in a comic.

You're really going to try countering this with a bunch of crappy ABC logic?

Twice now I have posted scans of Gladiator operating at hyperspeed for an entire issue, fighting Thor, doing labor, and interacting with people on another timestream all in the span of the tiniest fraction of a second. And twice you have completely avoided acknowledging it. Do you honestly think this point is going to go to you if you show scans of Wonder Woman blocking bullets?

Nverbeenwithagirl is over rating her and KK The great is under rating her.

Which means we have to go in-between nvr's skyfather WW, and KKK's street level Diana...

Never mind, WW's not important enough for me to try and figure this out.

Yup.

Shes powerful and can give both a good match, she probably loses to Gladiator but she still has the possibility of winning.

All we know is that Gladiator was moving fast. Wonder Woman has tagged zoom while blind. What makes you think Gladiator's speed will be a problem?

Amazing! Incredible! The amount of owning in this post threatens to blind all who dare gaze upon its glory!

I could respond, but you posting in response to your own post (and going as far as tooting your own trumpet in self-praise) made any response I might have had be rather moot. It would be like kicking a man with his pants down.

At least have the dignity to use a sock.

Doesn't it just take light speed to enter the speed force? Also Flash didn't use his own speed to beat Istantaneous Travel not to mention Flash is a heck of a lot faster than both Superman and Wonder Woman.

Though I'm not sure who wins this and think it could go either way really more or less after reading through the whole thread.

To be fair.....

This thread started with Gladiator getting some nods, but then some posters started touting the cheapass Superman clone line, and beaten by Colossus and Cannonball.

KK refuted the claims, posting the scans, and people seemed to get personally offended when corrected, and then got snippy as they always do when embarassed.

Kk returned in kind, while still pretty much just deading the naysayers.

Spetnaz came in with his usual long elaborate posts, which then KK picked apart with what i'd say was a fair share of arrogance(but that's just how he is), while basically deading Spetz because alot of what he posted, didn't jibe with the comics.

The cheerleaders didn't like that....so reported!!

Spetz seemed to take offense in his return, and from there, it just went personal.

Nobody should've been reported for anything that's taken place in this thread.

Gladiator wins, regardless.

wow, do you make a habit of missing the point entirely or was this just a fluke?

don't accuse people of being racist when you have no basis for your argument. 😛

which removed the planet from our dimension... how is that not impressive?

i believe we have a winner... 😛

Pr,

KK wasn't calling Nvr a racist...did you miss the joke?

He even mentioned purple people being the group that Nvr hated.

It seemed, to my eyes, that KK was, admittedly arrogantly and sarcastically, simply pointing out Nvr's line of reasoning. "I know I can't beat you in a debate, so I'll call you sexist!"

Understatement of the year.

The Earth heroes were on the Shi'ar planet for *TWO FULL WEEKS* by their perception of time, and the Shi'ar planet seemed to be completely frozen to them during the entire duration. Even ships in the sky didn't appear to move.

Gladiator was then able to interact with them through sheer speed alone. He fought Thor. He helped them stockpile weapons. He spied on Galactus in another galaxy. He even picked up an enormous spaceship and flew it into Galactus. All of this happened, for him, in an infinitesimal fraction of a second.
