And just in case anyone is wondering how powerful Wonder Woman actually is, just take a look at Superman's words

I'd say quite the opposite.
It would take more than one hand to count the number of his colleagues Superman has made similar comments about. I can think of two different occasions for J'onn alone.
In this case, ignoring the fact that "the next line of defense" has to do with more than just power, he's talking to one of his best friends and preparing her for a possible crisis. What's he going to say to her? "Diana, even though there are a number of heroes on this planet more powerful than you, you're the one who's here at the moment..."
What similar emotional motivation would The Vision--the ultra logical white version, at that--have for telling his teammates that the threat they face is effectively undefeatable?
Meh... he was receiving stats like "Limitless strength" from the files of the F4, who back then made similar comments about every uber-hero abroad that they met.
If I read that a character's powers were "Limitless strength, virtually invulnerable", and I knew he was super fast, I would probably say the same thing as Vision.
Vision didn't take into account his weaknesses, clearly. Or the extent of his powers. He just read" the guy is, lyke, rly gud", and believed it.

I'm sure it was the writer's way of making subtle criticism of the FF's files.
Less people would care if Vision said "Don't worry guys... there's the old "confidence loophole" ready for exploitation. It won't be very epic."
