when was the last time gladiator was the last man standing at the end of the story ? hes all powerful and all that pretty much equal to superman. but every book Ive seen him fight someone class 100 he gets whipped. surfer has taken him out hulk has taken him out and Thor has taken him out. when was the last time he won ?

beating hyperion is a decent feat i'd forgotten about. broke his arm iirc right? but thor trounced hyperion on a seperate occasion.
he's never beaten thor straight up. he surprise attacked and forced him to turn human while thor had the 60 weakness. afterwards, thor throttled him, though to be fair thor girl interfered so the whole fight could be said to have meant not much. 😬
i would be willing to say a split, but no way i see him stomping her, and each battle is a very close one imo.

Hulk taking him out is PIS and was done by Marvel to cover their asses from the Hulk fanboys pissed about Hulk losing to Supes in the Marvel vs. DC crossover, and he's also beaten Thor in addition to losing to him...THIS 1 LOOKED KEWLR!

striking power/strength isn't nearly that clear, imo. his best feat is what, breaking up that rocky world that no one knows how large it was? was there something else i'm forgetting?
he's hung with thor, been pushed by colossus, been beaten by hulk (call pis if you'd like, i'd disagree).
she's hung with cap marvel and pushed superman.
durabilty isn't so clear either, imo. he has one very very good showing, but on average he hasn't displayed that level. again, he might have an edge, but i don't think it's that great. she has some great feats herself in teh respect thread.
top flight speeds might go to glads, but she's deflected multiple laser fire easily with with her bracers. her reaction time is equal to his, her skill is at LEAST equal, likely better. his powerset is more versatile but her weapons make up for that and he simply has no way to get through her shield. if her tiara can cut up supes, it could badly harm glads and if he's tagged in the lasso he's finished.

Anyways I see Gladiator taking this for two reasons.
1. Men > Women
2. I have always seen WW as a defensive character considering her skill set. Not sure how far that will get her here.

Strength would include easily moving an asteroid large enough to block starlanes and lifting/moving a moon-size starship almost faster than Thor could see. If you don't go solely by on panel feats, he said he's powerful enough to move planets from their orbit, his fight with Supreme could have destroyed the entire Solar System they were so equal, his fight with Hyperion said each had 'planet pulverizing force', and LT's assistants said he could crush stars with his bare hands.
Solo feats for WW that come anywhere close?

Skill is probably about equal, but Gladiator has been Praetor of the Imperial Guard for 400+ years. Lotta wars and battles during that time.
