Imperiex vs. Galactus

Avlon how would you compare Abraxas to Imperiex?

I'd have to read his entire run to give an accurate estimate. Shame he was nullified. I prefer his design to Galactus by leaps and bounds.

From what I gather, Abraxas had no problem killing apparently hundreds of Galactus...and the nullifier wasn't an issue until Reed got it.

I'd say he's comparable.

The UN was a issue right from the beginning, why do you think Abraxas went through so much trouble to attain it ore keep it out of the reeds hand ore Galactus's for that matter.

But you really dont know the context then of this story.

Un is too powerful. Imperiex loses immediately imo.

Galactus has met his match

Imperiex is beyond destruction. He's Destruction and Big Bang energies too.

Do you really think he can survive the un?

I don't doubt you my friend. Imo, the UN probably wasn't fleshed out all that well at the time. I just found it interesting that it was made to seem like the end of the universe severely scared Galactus (and of course it should) but I'm also aware that the nullifier should scare the bejesus out of him.

You'd figure after nearly having the weapon used on himself, he'd wise up and destroy it. It's not like if Richard's had used it..there would have been a second chance ever again.

Funny you should bring that thought up,
in the What if issue he does erase the UN from existence.

He also goes on to make the FF his new 4 heralds.

Just to drop some knowledge...there is a material similar to what the UN does in DC as well. It's not 100% identical, but it has similar properties.
We can take that to PM if you're interested.

Hit me up.

It's all a very tricky matter when it comes to debating on these boards. Branching futures are USUALLY within a characters defined powerset but just aren't allowed. DC 1 Million has Superman as a super-god who powers an entire dynasty of overpowered cosmics that are transcendent and is a direct future as well.

Now even the precrisis future is being linked. The precrisis feats were off the wall insane a lot of the time. This is probably why the rule started in the 1st place to keep things current unless specified.

I see.

We do get some hearsay in Annihilation about possibilities which of course are the subject of debate. With Imperiex it has been shown though. These are things that have already been done.

True.

In a branching future,
Brainiac 13 became god with Imperiex's power literally taking over everything.

That sounds sweet, you have a taste of that scanned?

As usual though, it's always good to get some insight from a TRUE debater.

Likewise brother. 🙂

As long as they are enjoyable to read, they can use any of the above. There are quite a few good Elseworlds stories available as well.

In the "What if" version where Galactus wins,
they sure did take a lot of liberty with Thor's durability next to Surfer's output.

To be fair, SS was weakened in that battle with Thor,
SS moved on to Dr Doom, who stalemated the weakened Surfer,
they then joined each other in death, in their bloodlust fight.

Well, if it's out there someone will hopefully bring it up.
I thought it may have been a "what if" though.

I'll keep my eyes, peeled.

So Imperiex is the be all and end all of DC.
He is the beginning and the end of DC.
He is the creator of everything DC.

Sounds like something akin to a Supreme being.

* I'm wondering, how does Michael fit in this picture?

I thought he was the creator of all things.

At least till next week...when the "next" supreme being comes out from lurking under the shadows. 😖hifty:

Imperiex is being exaggerated here. Lt would easily defeat Imperiex and the un would defeat him as well.

So what is it exactly that Imperiex does, did, or can do?

btw. Anyone, scans would be nice.

Michael is the power the sustains all of Creation. His was the power that created everything from nothing. Even Entropy and new universes would come from his power.

Remember that there is a scientific theory that says that no energy is new. All energy is repeated and used over and over. So micheal is the being that birthed the Infinite energy from Nothing.

So you can post the scans that are the most demeaning and or irrelevant and leave the good one's out?
