Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Good points. I think Markus healed so quickly because of the fact that he was the 1st vampire, and he was a hybrid. His healing was boosted by the transformation, and all his powers were boosted as well, so whatever he could do then, he could do better now. Does that make any sense?

Yep, definitely does, I had the same frame of thinking towards that.

Too bad he can't heal from being in a million peices. 😂

Yeah, I imagine that one is a wee bit beyond his healing factor.

Indeed, and it'd be a bit stupid if he returned anyway, I kind of like for enemies to stay dead, even if I liked them a lot.

I am baffled as to who they'll bring in as another villain for Selene & Michael to fight. Perhaps they'll go out of the fold of vampire villains and make it a demon of sorts?

If they do keep it going, they might go with a demon setting, or maybe something else that will just be oh so much fun. But with them killing the two starters of the Vampire and Lycan race, I'm puzzled as to where they can go from here.

I wouldn't mind them going the Demon route as long as it still keeps the feeling of the first three movies. I think it'd be too cliche to go ahead and say there's yet another elder whom is sleeping and will be awakened and is all powerful. We've seen that twice and both times it worked. I really want them to go and try something new, and keep it fresh.

Ok, I haven't really been following the discussion, but I think its about villains being killed...

Anyway, I'm totally uncool with that. They killed off every Vampire Elder, Lucian and then William. Now Selene is the most powerful vampire and Michael the uber hybrid. There just aren't any more genuine threats for a villian. Some people mentioned Demons, but I'm quite sure they won't go down that path unless the demons are from nature and not some mystical creature because the Underworld series has maintained that there is nothing supernatural about Lycans or Vampires, they are products of a virus.

Either they didn't think this through or they didn't plan on having a sequel.

I actually hope they do that... and don't kill him/her off in the same movie... It sucks how they wiped out the entire Vampire/Lycan lineage.

Actually, I don't think it sucks, I think that was the best thing to do to move the story forward but I do agree that they should keep the next villain alive for at least two movies.
