Meh .. Desak was handling Thor his ass when they fought for the first time in the same story while in his normal state (no Destroyer), only for Thor to be saved by his son. And then later, again, only for Magni and then the Destroyer to intervene. I always found it stupid how suddenly Thor decapited him using the Mjolnir. As far as I recall, Thor with the Odin Force didn't exactly do well against Desak in most of their encounters.

Despite having a major advantage Desak did lose to Thor twice, but so what? King Thor stopped using energy attacks and focused everything into mjolnir. I don't see people crying about Terrax doing it.

I really wish you knew something about Thor, it would save us all a lot of time. Desak killed almost all of Perrikus' kind and two of those can give Odin a run for his money. King Thor took a bunch of attacks from him and prevailed in the end. Desak pretty much dominated him the entire time, but he came through in the end.

What should be mentioned is that in 3 attacks, Desak had the same Thor down and was about to finish him off, with Thor apparently being unable to react.

Considering Superman's speed and strength, I don't see why he wouldn't to this, especially with a week inside the sun. With a relativly small dose of sun compared to what he will recive in this thread he was able to put down Atlas, a character who's powers are derived from magic. I don't see how the Mjolnir would be a problem since at the speed and power Superman will be moving, Thor would be lucky if he would even lay a hand on Superman. Which I doubt.

IMO, this is a stomp in Superman's favor.

Good thing Desak siphoning King Thor's power has nothing to do with my point, since I'm arguing Superman's offensive and Thor's defensive capabilities, using the scans I posted, and not Superman's defensive and Thor's offensive capabilities (only then your 'Superman can't siphon KT's powers like Desak did' being relevant).

Scans? The only one I have seen is Red Hulk using Thors own hammer to pwn him with.

So now it's illegal to join a debat to attain greater understanding of both characters? And how unlogical that is when one look at it, alone on his own Desak showed himself superior to King Thor but when he gets into the destroyer armor he is suddenly below Thor that doesn't make a awfull lot of sense. And as shown the only reason Thor came through in the end was because of his son else he would have been lacking a head.

In the encounter where Desak almost kills him, Thor wasn't using Mjolnir. He hadn't used it in years because he wasn't worthy of it. At the end, he's all "righteous" and stuff, and so is able to wield it.

Bah. This scan just shows Thor is about as powerful as a regular Darkseid. In OWAW Superman was far above this level. With a weeks dip... Thor's stomped.
