Loved it! Will be seeing it again this coming weekend. Sucker punch ftw!

Movie is amazing. I think Thor fans will be ok with the stuff he does. He has some kickass feats. Anyways ...Hulk Smash.

Nope, Thor fans will be a bit disappointed. I should know, I'm a Thor fan. Though he did have his moments, Thor was fairly inconsistent. One scene he's one badass god, other scenes he's just like another cap only with a hammer.

The best feat was the one shown in the trailer with him taking on a 400%+ capacity Ironman, after that, he just goes down hill.

Thor was the least utilised character in the movie. You could take him out of the plot without missing anything important. He has nice scenes, particularly with Loki, but otherwise, nah.

Spoiler:
To me his best feat was standing up to Hulk without the hammer and suffering no damage what so ever.

Spoiler:
the initial confrontation looked promising, but at the end, we saw Thor getting manhandled by Hulk. Thor's only take away was that he didn't end up unconscious . plus lets not forget Thor jumping and covering his face and hiding once the jet started firing at Hulk. Lame!

Im a Thor fan and I wasn't disappointed at all. He had feats throughout.

Spoiler:
His fight with Hulk. He went toe to toe with him without his Hammer. Iron man couldn't have done that and even if he could (Hulk Buster armour) it just wouldn't have been the same.

Plus there was that Lightning strike smashing one of those Serpent ships.

And his were some of the damn funniest scenes in the movie.

The movie wouldn't have been the same without

His fight with the Hulk.

In all fairness they had to tone him down.

He's so powerful he could make the rest of the Avengers seem moot.

He could have

Spoiler:
redirected that missile instead of Iron man, and done all the smashing instead of Hulk

But then it would just be a Thor movie, not Avengers. Plus they know Iron man and the Hulk are the most popular and recognisable Marvel characters on the team, so the best way to sell the movie was to capitalize on those 2 characters.

It's the same as the comics

Spoiler:
Thor always goes toe to toe with Hulk and either stalemates him or loses. He never unleashes his full arsenal of Lightning and Tornadoes on him. He couldn't anyway, because they were on the Shield hellicarrier. And not to mention he told Hulk "I don't want to hurt you Banner."

The Iron man vs Thor was also straight from a comic. Thor once blasted IM with Lightning which powered him up and aided him going toe to toe with Thor.

Oh and plus this Thor can not teleport yet. So he can't simply Brf Hulk that easily at this point in time.

Spoiler:
It wasn't much of a fight though. We only managed to see a few exchanges but then all we saw was them destroying everything in their path and Hulk throwing Thor around 2 times without really hurting him. However Thor ducking out of the machinegun's way was a letdown considering all the shit he tanked before. I demand a rematch in the 2nd movie and it better be well done unlike what we got this time around.

What happened after the credits?
I totally forgot to watch that..

They should rename it Iron Man and Friends.

naw, more like Iron Man and the Avengers since the others did have some parts.

I felt like Hulk was the highlight.

But they did the right thing making Iron man stand out more as he's been by far the most popular Avenger on the big screen until now.

Fact is though Thor could do everything both the Hulk and Iron man did in that movie.

sad but true especially when you consider that Cap and Thor were the ones who were most likely to make that call considering what they did in their respective movies.

[spoiler] I think Thor had a good showing but was not highlighted as Iron man or Hulk. Thor broke out of that "Hulk cage". Thor took out not 1 but 2 Leviathan with his Lightning, pls watch the movie again. Thor was already injured after Loki stabbed him, Tthor manhandled Loki after that. Thor-Hulk fight, Thor went toe to toe without utilising majority of his power-set. Yes Hulk handled Thor at the end, but I remembered Abombination Handling Hulk in Incredible Hulk 75% of the fight.[/spoilers]

^ I agree Joesha. Power wise he was the most powerful. Character wise he took a back seat though to Iron Man and Hulk. But tbh I don't mind that.

Fact is movie wouldn't have been the same without

Spoiler:
all the Thor/Hulk interactions. The fight and the humorous moments

Not sure what your point is about Abomination vs Hulk though.

Spoiler:
If anything that makes Thor look weaker, because he hardly handled Hulk toe to toe, so his chances against Abom would look even worse
