Ripley and The Space Marines (Aliens) vs The Predator

They didn't know what was waiting for them in Aliens anyway. All they knew was that there were "aliens" and no from the marines gave a shit about what Ripley was saying about it.

Hey btw, did you know originally in the movie they were going to include sentry guns in the film, but later deleted it? That would've been so awesome.

That is one of the best scenes in the D-cut

I reckon the Marines win in the long run. Especially considering the environment. An off world settlement with narrow corridors and ventilation shafts. This isn't the jungle. The marines would lose a few before they realize what they're dealing with. And group up and make motion turrets outside their sealed and enclosed area. It would become a waiting game. With their escape based upon the pilot in their ship circling the environment once an escape plan is made it would be the team blasting their way out strategically whilst the Predator hangs back looking for pot shots.

The Predator would avoid such turrets though with trial and error. With its enhanced vision it's arguable whether the Predator could avoid such weapons and simply stalk the team. Question is do you think the Predator could take out a motion turret with a quick plasma burst before the turret can tag him?

Those turrets minced Alien before they realized they could hit the air ducts.
