The racism wouldn't come from the joke but, for example, wishing that to happen to Obama, due to him being half-black.

Christ, i hope this Bama hysteria dies down now. My fukin hockey game was interrupted two times to check in on the inauguration celebrations and today the news stations are all dedicating long segments to report on what Bama has done on his first day. ok, i almost understand the over committed coverage on his inauguration day but why does the news have to devote an entire twenty minute segment on Bama's first day as presi? It's ridiculamolous. If they have a day two follow up i will start taking hot irons to babies.

I have to say agree to an extent. People are really taking it out of context. Sure its cool America has its first Black President but:
1. Hes still a politician eventhough hes better than Bush.
2. Just because he black doesnt mean that things are going to change that much for black people.....South Africa is still messed up for alot of black people.
3. There is still racism in America, Obama being black isn't going to change that. People being more tolerant is not the only reason why he got voted there are other factors as well.
People are blowing this way out of proportion....
The President does not have any "singular" power so people act like he is going to crap Gold and Cry Money. WHat He is going to do is turn America into a welfare state. While some may think this good IMO it is not what made this Country Great. People voted with their emotion not with an informed, pragmatic view of Govt. and what is best in the long-run for America. Ok so we have a Half Black man raised Muslim as President so we are Officially not a "racist" country anymore now, lets hope the bleeding hearts dont Bleed us out.

In south Africa now, there are essentially 2 castes of black people. Those with affluence who became part of the government, and the "cape coloureds" who are still second class citizens in a lot of ways.
