Superman would win simply because...how many of America's problems could he solve singlehandedly? I mean, a military backround is great, but being a military your damn self is probably better.

Well not only is Superman disqualified for not being born on US soil, but Steve has the sympathy vote due to being killed recently and all.

Plus, he kills Nazis...while Superman has allied himself with Darkseid of all people on more than one occasion.

Superman pals around with ultra high level terrorists)( Darkseid. Further proof is unfit to be commander in chief. He is also a socialist as im sure he wud have no problem redistributing the wealth.

Cap however is a Maverick as seen in civil war where he challenged his group the avengers. He also has been tested and is far more experienced than superman.

Based on their record, Cap is the clear choice.

cap isn't as easily recognizable by the america people.........or as iconic in their eyes......cap wears a damn america flag and still can't manage to have his symbol displayed as an american symbol/trademark more often than some alien with an s on his chest
