"Our old friend, the SHADOW KING. The bottom line is that Storm CANNOT beat him. It’s impossible. He can take her over any time he wants to. There’s no Xavier, no Frost, no Psylocke around to help.

Storm is completely and utterly in unwinnable trouble."

Nah, I think the Fourth issue will be quite...shocking buddy. 😖hifty: Well not really, since I think most people predicted it already. Same goes for X-Men Noir, that's the thing about previews these days, they start to give plot twists away too easily.

Also Yost and Kyle write Wolverine and the X-Men.(I don't think it's aired by you guys yet, but it's decent. *wink*

You should definitely consider picking up the Uncanny X-Men Annual that's coming out in January. It's a Dark Reign book on Emma Frost. Storm might be involved in the event, I heard the Black Panther is supposed to be heavily involved some how, but they could be refering to the female one.

I think he's alright. Most of the stuff he does with Craig Kyle is quite good.

Holy crap. And here I thought I knew what bad-ass was.

Yeah, I can't actually compete with harnessing the power of the galactic core, holding in Eternity with her mind, or creating a gamma powered weather shield-- i actually couldn't get through that sentence.

But I promise some very cool moments, more bad-ass than the 'control the air in your lungs' bit.

And the double page splash in issue 2 is one of my favorite things ever.

History will be the judge, immediately after the internet.

She should kill him on the astral plane with purely spiritual elemental power. It's a wonderful tie-in to her magical abilities.

Christopher Yost already handed in his final script. From the interview he believes that Storm can't beat Shadow King. I'd say he probably intends Emma to take down the Shadow King on the astral plane since Storm is unable to hurt him at all. Storm will probably hold off T'Challa and Wakanda while Emma protects her from the Shadow Kings influence since we now know that he can possess her anytime and is toying with her by giving her the choice to choose between the X-Men and T'Challa.
