And if you want to go with a comparison of battles between common foes, Surfer has more impressive fights against Nova, Millenius, Hulk, and quite a few others if I'm not mistaken. What's more, Surfer's fight with Loki was more impressive than the average fight between Thor and Loki, and that was when Surfer was depowered from being trapped on Earth.

Both enchanced yet Thor gets the better....so when has SS ever faired well agaisnt Thanos on any occasion.
