Oh my god ... that would explain A LOT. If that is the case, his stomach is basically a miniature Sun. He must photosynthesize, like a plant creating biological food, which his stomach then converts into pure energy. In fact he's way more efficient that a sun, cos fusion only converts about 10 % of mass into energy. The solar battery ins't working as a catalyst its working as a mass provider. The solar absorbing cells work like a coal miner, which provides the fuel that his stomach turns into pure enrgy. If he works like a plant, this must be biological molecules like C02 and oxygen. This would even explain Sun dipping as his photosynthetic cells would be working overtime in the sun.The extra sunlight in close proximity would he yields carbohydrates at a far greater rate, which his "stomach" then converts. He'd have to be actually inside the sun for this to work, as there isn't much carbon and oxygen in space. There are though, huge amounts in the sun, like literally trillions of tons of the stuff.
not entirely, superman can be hurt from over saturating in solar power.
i think it would be a far better weakness for superman if instead he was weakened by using his heat vision too much, after all it's pretty much raw energy so it would make sense for him to want to retain it as much as possible.
kryptonite and magic are pretty lame and out dated, imo him using his actual personal energy store as a weapon of last resort would be a better weakness. it's more heroic and more logical imo.

happy now? 😛

how often does that happen, though? kryptonians seem to have little troouble being close to the sun on most occasions...
are you talking about all star?

Only in Allstar, and it doesn't make any sense any way.

I agree. I think something that should be introduced is a weakness to Positron weapons. If his Bio electrical aura works like a Plasma force field, which i presume it does as this is the only kind of electromagnetic field one can generate that repulses all kinds of matter (charged and un charged), then it should be susceptible to anti matter positrons. Seeing how advanced most the civilization are in the D.C. universe its not that hard to believe that they can create positron weapons.

What with this put more weakness to superman ...he fine as is it. Why don't we put weakness to surfer , thor , genis and other uber marvel char. that will be much better.
Because there isn't a fictional character Olympics in reality in which these characters compete in.

Well antimatter in general in DC is considered to be very destructive

(Granted, Hal was helping, but still impressive)

Granted, it wasn't just a simple planet moving feat. Starbreaker was pushing Earth out of orbit and they not only had to pull the weight of the earth back but they also had to pull against Starbreaker's force.God knows how much more difficult that is than just "simply" moving a planet.
And unlesss Hal's power > Starbreaker's power, than Superman's power > planet moving.

So I heard it was a PC feat from supes, so it wouldn't be canon to current supes...there was some confusion over it. Although it's a very subjective feat, either Hal was using his will combined with supes strength to move the planet or either Hal used his will maintain the construct while supes strength alone moved the planet.
