Mephisto is skyfather level ... where as Loki is Thor level. Its like Thor not being afraid of his dad.

Mephisto.

Knocked him out with a single punch and then literally ripped his heart out. In some comics later, Mephisto was beaten in his own realm. Supposedly T'challa has all the souls of every panther or every person in Wakanda. I don't see how that's too much for Mephisto, but that's how it goes.

Hmmmm ... Im very skeptical of anything that is portrayed in the "Respect Forums". Hardly any of the links posted in there demonstrate an accurate version of events.

I find it very hard to believe that Loki single handily defeated Mephisto in his own Realm. We're talking about the same guy who recently re-ordered reality to bring back Aunt May, and held is own against Galactus.

dont think its mephy.. dormy being in the picture as well as doom just utterly makes me reject it. Hoods power isnt in the hood itself anymore its in the guy. loki is loki... idk... plus dont you think someone like mephy could help osborn hold his shit and not struggle with his goblin persona without the need of meds? why play a game and curb such powers like doom, loki and the hood then leave your head piece [osborn] slowly cracking. eh dont see a point to it.

It was Thor in Loki's body. Mephisto always goes down to loopholes. Thor's soul was too pure, he "shrunk the soul" into nothingness. Panther had "too many souls" and things that do not make any sense. This however, is a pretty conclusive fight:
