I think Bendis is a very good writer. I can't think of a comic writer with the possible exception of Brian K Vaughan who writes better dialogue.
A great example of this is pretty much any issue of Ultimate Spider-man which is consistently brilliant. Also his Mighty Avengers #12, featuring the return of Nick Fury to the MU was glorious.
However sometimes his stuff is too dialogue heavy and it sometimes slows the story right down. Secret Invasion and Ho.M had this problem. Too much happened in the first issue and not enough until the last few pages of the last issue. Good start but poor finish.

I was little disappointed in secret warriors last issue, because Dum Dum Dugan was left out. I would love for them to bring back the entire Howling Commando's who left of the original two teams and have them bee central part of the series, and kick ass.
I like Bendis' dialogue but maybe because I've only extensively read Alias, The Pulse, and his Daredevil run. I like the fact that in those books, when Murdock or someone fights some villain they've fought a thousand times, instead of being witty and peppy or overly boisterous, they're just cranky. I mean the whole attitude of "Oh great, it's this dipshit idiot again...What, you send this looser in bright yellow pants because The Ringmaster's at the dentist and Killer Shrike is at the tailors?"
It seems far more realistic.
Exactly.
I actually got my hands on a Daredevil #2 recently (As in, first volume), and as much as they're great to have as a fan and collector. The dialogue and such is almost hard to read.
It's amazing to see, but writers like Bendis are definitely better today. Stan Lee's writing is very much frozen in time.

Yeah but its within the realms of possibility that Iron Man could beat Classic Doom, and maybe hold his own against magic Doom, in the same way Spider man held his own against Iron Man in civil war. However according to FF4 Dooms on a Watcher Killing level, we're talking Silver Surfer at least. As previously mentioned; this seems to have been ignored, for example we find out in Thor that Doom is finding a way to make himself immortal, in contrast to FF4 upgraded Doom where he has complete molecular control over his body and has lived for millions of years. If that doesn't make him immortal I don't know what does. Maybe the last FF4 took place after the most recent Thor ? 😕

And what are the chances of all this being remembered when this story is released? 😉

Although the fact that Dormammu was behind the Red Hood, and his sudden rise to power, I thought this would invoke a bit of a clash.
I don't think Dormammu is going to like Mephisto moving in on his territory.
According to Captain Britain though, they seem to both be Dukes of Hell.
