And it's not really the "overpoweredness", I guess. I quite enjoy Lucifer Morningstar, Morpheus, Batman and all those top-tier characters. So, it's not really that Superman is so incredibly powered, I just don't feel like his overpowered stories are good, or at least the few I have read.

and while king kai can keep up with Goku's ship when he went to namec, king kai can't sense his fight with frieza.
so, if vegeta saiyan saga can destroy a planet, current Goku I believe cn do much worse.

2. And Kid Buu's blast which could destroy the planet ten times over was deemed unstoppable by Goku and Vegeta. So clearly in terms of power output, the difference is not as great as you would like us to believe.
3. And Superman and Zod fighting under a Red Sun which weakens them both were destroying a planet.
4. Wtf are you talking about? Keep up with his ship? And King Kai COULD keep up with their fight, he was even explaining what was happening to Tien, Yamcha, and that albino midget.
5. Vegeta during the Saiyan saga never destroyed a planet, that was noncanon filler.
