"It was 'Vandom', and I'll certainly help you kill him. But we have better things to worry about now."

Dak pulls Rianna's cloak out, carefully wrapped around her sabers. "Here, I kept your cloak safe."

"Amazing. You managed to keep something safe," she replies drily, taking her cloak back and noting that her lightsabers are bundled up inside of it. She simply glares at Xavier. "Nice to see you're not completely useless."

"Hey, considering a blew up a building while inside it, I think I did a pretty good job," Dak hisses in return.

"My track record for handling things when certain people go down is quite extensive, and spotless," He adds.

"Oh, yeah, because that really helped anything beyond cutting off my escape route and making me have to jump down seven stories," Rianna whispers angrily back at Dak. "Thanks so much for that."

"And considering the fact that I don't usually go down, you don't have much of a track record to speak of."

"Regardless we're all ok now, and that is all that matters. You should probably talk with your husband in private. He has been quite upset at your being injured. He's been blaming himself nonstop all the way up here," Xavier says.

Rianna simply glares at both of them, not sure if she'd be able to keep her temper under control if she said anything.

The man in the lab coat is actually quite flustered that you walk off to the medical center while he is talking to you, but he follows.

"I'm a scientist!" he says. "I run experiments, I don't deal with death threats from angry tribes! Magnus Delta has the natural resources that I require for my studies. I was hoping the natives would understand and accept my offers to improve their technology... but I've had to install automated turrets since I've arrived. Now I'm looking to wipe them out. It's quite a change."

"That is a change, what exactly are you studying?" Xavier asks politely.

"Alternative energy," he says. "People want cheap power. I'm looking for it."

"I wish you the best of luck with that," Xavier calmly speaks.

"What kind of resources are here that you need?"

Well, Rianna will have managed to calm her temper enough to ask one of the doctors how long it'll be until she's healed.

The researcher goes over a list of chemicals produced naturally on Magnus Delta, none of which you really understand or care about. He does say that the studies he is performing cause atmospheric polution, which is why he is not performing them in the Republic as it breaks pollution laws.

The medical droid tasked with monitoring your status says you have a day or so of healing and rest to look forward to.

Well, that does a nice job of getting Rianna nice and irritated again 😛

Anyway, if she can manage to talk to Dak and Xavier alone, she wants to tell them what little she managed to learn from her conversation with the Shepherd leader.

The researcher wants to conclude his conversation with Xavier first.

Dak is up then cause Xavier is going to keep talking with the Lab Coat guy.

Xavier doesn't care about the pollution or anything like that.
"What does the group backing you think about all this? Surely they would worrying about this?"

Dak will listen to Rianna's learnings, then.

"Whoever it was that attacked us...they're behind Galder's disappearance. They knew who I was, some of them at least can use the Force, and their leader said they were going to try and kidnap us," Rianna says quietly to Dak. "I underestimated them. I wouldn't be surprised if Galder did the same."

"Well, I doubt Galder followed one of them for the same reason you did," Dak says offhand. "He must have been ambushed. But anyway, they came here after finishing their business of Skythros. The description I got of the Shepherds' leader... it sounded like Kuylen."

Rianna glares at Dak.

"Make up whatever delusions you want, then. If I hadn't gotten poisoned I would have been able to deal with them all," she snaps. "And I still don't buy that Kuylen's involved at all. He's supposedly dead, for starters. Secondly, even if it was him, why would they attack us?"
