STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Rescue

"You did, actually. You do not make a good bedfellow." Dak grimaces.

"Good," Rianna snaps, still glaring.

"...what else did I say?"

"Well, you said you didn't like me... actually, you said you didn't like me." Dak lets the unspoken question hang.

After a few moments of trying to reply to that, Rianna gives up and just glares at Dak, completely red now.

Dak miraculously prevents himself from bursting out laughing, mostly with the awe that he actually just shut Rianna up.

"Don't ever mention any of that again. To anyone. Or they'll never finish finding the pieces of your body..." Rianna finally says.

Dak grins. "And what will you do for me if I don't tell?"

"I'll not dismember you. You did already return my lightsabers, remember."

"You already don't dismember me anyway, Rianna."

"I haven't had enough of a reason to seriously attempt it before."

Dak grins. "Hey, come on, we're married. We've had our little spats before, but we've always pulled through."

Rianna again tries and fails to respond, as she is far too flustered to come up with anything that would make any sense.

Dak is enjoying this entirely too much. "Now, you just rest, and you'll be back to your normal, fire-breathing self in no time... Honey."

"Consider yourself lucky that I do have to rest..." Rianna mutters, both seriously annoyed and embarrassed.

"The Corporate Alliance is not going to find issue with the penalties of my research," the researcher says to you, Xavier. "It was their idea to leave Republic space so that I could continue. They know the tolls it will have on this world. They are much more interested in how rich we will all be when I'm done."

"I was talking more along the lines of I thought they would be sending a small army here to protect such a valuable facility?"

"Is there anything else you can tell us about what you want us to do, or anything in particular you want to let us know or ask?"

"The Corporate Alliance could send protection, but then it would be evident that they had dodged Republic pollution laws to keep my research going. And I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I DO want you to join my security forces as payment to me for letting you use the medical center."

"Then we shall join them, and help protect your work."

(just so you know, Rianna will NOT be pleased at that...not that she's happy with anything right now, mind 😛)

(Well considering we're only doing this BECAUSE of Rianna I don't think she should be that mad 😛)
