I'd agree that the animations are more fluid than Gears but the textures are blah.

Killzone 2 and Resistance 1 (I hated 2), were better than any of the Halos on the 360 in virtually everyway, but not as good as Gears... but Gears is a third person shooter, so maybe it should be compared to Uncharted.

you guys dont know anything about halo i am an expert at halo and the story so if u have ever read any of there books you would like a lot more too and btw the graphics are amazing for what they did since halo 1. and reach is amazing so if u think otherwise you can got bring it up with an Elite haha

I don't know about that, Gears uses the Unreal Engine 3, and it is a pretty open and dynamic engine. I think Halo on the Unreal Engine would pretty much be Unreal Tournament 3 with a single player campaign...

Check out Enslaved, that is on the Unreal Engine as well and is bright and colourful, beautiful looking game. You could easily make Halo on the Unreal Engine.

To be fair, Reach is definitely on the lower rung of the Halo games. Storywise 1 was best, but 2 had the best gameplay and 1 had the second best. Reach and 3 were both extremely bland. ODST doesn't even count (Though I actually really liked ODST's campaign).

ODST failed for being full price. But it had too much content to be a DLC. It should have just been 40 bucks or something.
