you're right. it was in the same issue supes battled adam. and zoom actually won the race, but it was very close. can't wait to hear all the cries of PIS. seems zoom is another one of those guys where there's PIS in every one of his appearances . . .

he tends to be, tbh. that's why in one issue he's moving too fast for superman to perceive, and in the the next wonder woman is giving him a fight.

maybe it's his whole "making heroes better" thing. how can you teach them a lesson if you don't fight at their level and show them their vulnerabilities?

Wonder Woman didn't give him a fight though.

He beat her across the world, started beating on some amazons and tried to do the whole "improvement" thing. Then she caught him with the lasso, he took it off a panel later and left with Cheetah. It was just...odd....

Clearly, blowing him out of the water and winning the race before Bizarro even knew what was happening wouldn't be very conducive to things, would they? Furthermore, they were having a conversation while they were racing. It wasn't like Zoom was going all out. Nor was Bizarro, I would suspect.
