KC Supes being faster than Jay is canon as of the recent JSA arc.

Also, you're mixing KC with Justice...

This was a pretty good thread. I got restricted and I don't even know why I was banned so I missed this most excellent thread.
zoom for the win.

If you took the time to read what I wrote in context, then you would understand that I meant the discussion that I missed while banned.

No idea, but it said perma-banned on her profile a few days ago.

So; Zoom vs. Superman. In a recent FC: Rougues Revenge, Zoom warned Inertia not to run in the dark; because if he hit something at speed, it's all over.

Given that, I may have to change my vote. If Superman can just start moving at all when the fight starts, Zoom could misjudge a speedblitz and go splat against Clark's invulnerable body.

Thoughts...

Thoughts...

Given the speeds they travel at, even if Zoom managed to get to Clark and he leaves to ground to fly, what is he going to do? Grab his leg and punch him repeatedly in the air where he can't maneuver? In that scenario, Supes just has to hit him once.

If he does miss... a wide angle from supes in space would be more than sufficient for the job.

For all their speed, the flashes senses are still relatively human when it comes to their senses..relatively speaking of course.

Are you shitting me?

Zoom's taken Flash's strongest punch, a punch from Earth 2 Superman and a punch from Powergirl. There is no way that Superman only needs 1 punch to take him out.

Flash saw the Supes bullrush coming during the Sacrifice arc, but it was stated he was too slow to do much about it. Flash couldn't even see Zoom. That's the speed difference we're talking about here.

Whoever said "Supes gets speedblitzed" first deserves a medal.

If Zoom can take a Superman level punch, then running into a train or a wall shouldn't be any problem.

...yet it was stated that it IS a problem.

What's weirder about that argument is that Zoom can speed-phase through matter.

It's not an argument. It's an on-panel fact.

I mean, the whole hit a brick wall thing.

As he would be able to phase through it.

They're taking something he said to Inertia and applying it to Zoom himself, anyway. Fallicious logic.

I brought this up. And instead of trying to build an argument around it, I asked for everyone's thoughts.

I think that's pretty reasonable despite how "fallicious" you think it is...

Would it be reasonable for me to bring up some opponents who have beaten Supergirl or Superboy, simply because they have similar powersets?

But you're right, you didn't try to build an argument around it...which is a plus. Kudos for that.
