Speaking at our just-concluded Chicago Weekend of Horrors, the aging-well Caroline Williams (who played spunky and sexy radio DJ Stretch in Tobe Hooper’s cult sequel THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2) revealed a bit of news about her turn in Rob Zombie’s currently filming HALLOWEEN sequel. “I have just wrapped my scenes in H2,” the actress tells us. “I was in the first shot of the first day,” she continues. “My scene begins with Scout [Taylor-Compton, returning as Laurie] being delivered into the emergency room. I play one of the doctors, and Michael Myers literally bursts into the place and begins his killing spree. It takes place right after the events of the previous HALLOWEEN, and all I can say is that I’m flattered to be a part of a Rob Zombie movie. I’m a massive fan of his work.” We last reported on H2 here, and you can see its official site here; Fango will be hitting the film’s set shortly, so look for lots more coverage here and in the magazine as the sequel heads toward its August 28 release from Dimension.

Looks like Steve was right about the movie beginning right after another. Sorry for saying your idea was lame, Steve, now that I look back it could work quite well, and him returning on the same night actually makes him seem more badass.

Yay I was right 😄 See I thought it made more sense for him to return there and then rather than later like...1 year or 20 years later 🙂

I'm sure she has her reasons, I mean there were quite a few people who disliked the remake. She's allowed an opinion so I choose not to question it since I didn't hate the remake but at the same time didn't like it 😬

I didn't mean the comment as if she wasn't entitled to her opinion, I just want to know her exact reasons for saying the remake is rubbish.

In any case, Zombie has said the sequel will be much more violent, so it'll be interesting to see how much more vicious Michael is.

Yeah, Michael has always been pretty smart, so I wouldn't mind him using more tactical ways to dispose of people.

It could end up being a better kill rather than just something you see in other horror films...bring something new to the table

That's what I think Zombie is trying to do. He really did an awesome job with the first, but I'm expecting even greater things from the second movie. The one thing I'm most glad about is Tyler Mane returning. He's the best person to portray MM yet.

It's also fantastic to see someone who can do so much good acting without even using his voice. You don't see that a lot.

Yeah, but I kinda want some new ones, especially of the new cast members while in character. It'd also be nice to see how Laurie looks now that she's older and probably has matured more, if you catch my drift. 😉
