We don't know that....he could've just as easily still been trying to get her to understand. Michael knows what may or may not kill him, he didn't seem that surprised by the knife attack, and he could've just as easily rushed and stabbed her instead of knocking her off the ledge.

Yeah but how do you know he wasn't trying to kill her? You don't knock someone of a ledge to try and make them 'understand' it would be like me saying to make you understand why the original is better than the remake I'm going to try and stab you and then throw you off a ledge. When he was shoving that huge piece of wood through the ceiling whilst she was crawling through it, do you think he wasn't trying to kill her then because that could've easily killed her.

Idk, I'm just saying that he maybe wasn't trying to kill her...he knew that he'd take the roof out with the log, so he stopped at a certain point, but he could've been trying, I'm not exactly sure.

Btw, Zombie (on the commentary) said that he filmed a scene where Michael speaks and says "Boo" in the scene where he takes his mask off, but felt it "de-mystified" Michael, so he didn't use it.

Best for michael to be silent, kinda makes him more menacing

That's what Rob was saying, he didn't want to make him less scary, I'd still like to see that scene.

I think it would be interesting to see, to say the least, because I'd like to see how different it is from what we got, and how well it could've worked in the final version.

I think Mike should be kept silent like in the originals

I meant he could've included it as a deleted/alternate scene, where you can choose which version plays during the end of the movie.

wow just found out about H2 and it gave me a hard on..

i loved the rob z. remake and his take or version or vision. loved the tall mike myers.

i found out about "h2" when i was just now reading wikipedia. i was reading about sabertooth cause i just finished watching the "hulk vs wolverine" 'toon in which sabertooth was in it, a mutant that always facinated me, and wiki said that the guy who played sabertooth in "X-men" pt 1. is the same guy that played mike myers in rob zombies holloween remake. and i clicked to read about him and his filmograhpy and low and behold there was "H2" to my surprise.

I wanted this to happen, like a sequal to rob's vision of the movie but thought it was just something he delved into just to do it only once but man he's at it again? and it's coming out this year.

Btw, I was listening to the commentary about a week ago, and found out that the steel bathroom stall that Joe Grisley and Mike were in was real, and Tyler really broke it by bashing Ken Foree against it. He also really broke through a real wall at the end when he was chasing Laurie.

He used to be a wrestler for WCW, doesn't surprise me that he's strong enough to break through walls

I used to watch WCW and it's strange that I don't remember him at all, I may try finding some of his matches on Youtube, been meaning to do that for a while now.

And it doesn't surprise me about the wall but the steel did surprise me. Imagine the pain of being bumped up against a steel bathroom stall numerous times.

Also, another thing I learned was that Tyler did all his own stunts except for one scene, which was the scene where Michael was getting shot at by Loomis. I honestly didn't notice. I'll probably end up watching the entire movie with the commentary because Rob says a lot of informative things.

Shooting is now underway in Georgia as Dimension has the film slated for release on August 28.
