LOL I guess it will all make sense when it comes out and we see everything in context.

yeah guess so

If not then the film is in serious trouble....
I shall miss Daeg but he gave us a good run last time around.
Hope the new kid can too.
Hey is Tyler Mane playing the adult Michael again?

I thought Daeg was a chick...he even had boobs

Why, the long hair?

yeah...I've mistaken short haired chicks for guys more than once

well he is a rather attractive person but I never mistook him for female.

uhm...k 😕

Moving on:

According to the make-up FX person on the film, Wayne Toth, Michael Myers spend at least seventy-percent of the sequel without the mask. Myers, as played by Tyler Mane, will appear as the disheveled, bearded hulk we've seen in leaked set photos. "That's Michael's new look for a lot of the film. Fans will be shocked. They seem pretty responsive to it. But it's like anything else, as long as you're doing something cool, people get it."

The film is set roughly two years after Rob Zombie's remake. Between the films, Myers has been living in the wild, exposed to the elements. Toth assures us fans will see new interpretations of the Myers mask. "There are a couple different versions of the mask, but none of them are the same mask from the first film. He wanted to take them a step further, even though one of them is basically supposed to be the last mask. We've changed it anyway. Then towards the end of the film is the current version of the mask which is a lot different from any of them we've seen. People are going to be surprised when they see it. It's going to thrown the Myers fans for a loop."

Since his father's untimely passing in 2005, Malek Akkad has been tasked with overseeing Michael Myers' legacy since the killer's rebirth in Rob Zombie's 2007 remake. When this writer last spoke with the amiable producer in early '07 and asked if a follow-up to the redo was inevitable, Akkad had smiled after a long draw on his cigarette and said, "Never say never." Two years later, Akkad and Zombie are back for H2 which sees much of the remake's ensemble cast returning.

Last night, on the frigid Georgia set where ShockTillYouDrop.com witnessed a fraction of the sequel's finale, Akkad once again fielded the unavoidable topic of the franchise's future. "This is taking it to a place the fans have never seen before," he admitted. "To me, that's exciting because it's a whole new side to Michael, a whole new look to Michael. Where we go from here is anyone's guess, we're just focusing on this one right now." Should it carry on, it sounds like distributor Dimension Films - who has the right to produce future chapters - will have to mine for new ideas. "I think Rob has ended it in a way that is very satisfying and complete. It feels like these two films are Rob's take. We'll address it if we see the possibility to go forward later, but the potential's there."

Akkad is cognizant of the disparate fan reactions surrounding Zombie's chosen vision for Myers and Haddonfield, but he doesn't think it's fair to let these opinions sway the creative decisions currently fueling the series. "This is a Rob Zombie film and I believe in that 100%. I want to give him all of the tools he needs. If [fan opinions] affect what he does, I highly doubt it. He writes the story he wants to tell and ultimately, obviously we want the fans to love it. But I think you fall into a trap if you try to please everybody. There are going to be the die-hards that are never going to be happy unless it's frame-by-frame John Carpenter's version. The thing we talked about before we did the first version, we wanted something completely different. This is Rob's version."

Hopefully this'll be good, it hasn't such a great original to try and out do, original halloween was a master piece and couldn't be out done by a re-make, sequel was good but not as good...this re-make of the sequel might be able to do better but ya never know

I don't believe Zombie's sequel is a remake of Carpenter's sequel, I believe it's an entirely new sequel just for his remake of Halloween.

Also:

Shooting officially wrapped for Rob Zombie's sequel, his reboot of the franchise created by John Carpenter back in 1978 that follows a soulless killer by the name of Michael Myers. "Well, after 35 days of snow, freezing rain, fire ants, mud and blood we are done! The cast and crew kick ass beyond ass to bring you the most demented Halloween ever! In less than five months MIchael will be back in your face! The new film arriving in theaters August 28 picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

Still I wonder if it'll be better than the original sequel
