This was stated by Goku, and was proven wrong by what actually happened, and the fight I remember had Kid Buu dominating most of the fight, with Goku only getting the upper hand a few times. Goku's words are not fact. And he was not ever able to power up to his max and destroy Buu. So Goku's words have yet to be proven.
Only we actually see an entire Broly being vaped, caused by Broly, prove that Broly did it over time. You will never be able to. Never stated? It was never stated that Omega Shenron can beat Krillin, does that mean he cannot? Fact is, Broly has proven to be vastly more powerful than anyone in DB fiction, canon or not.
Right and I guess that is why Broly was killed by 3 Super Saijans right? Even Perfect Cell at 100 percent could beat Goku, Vegita and Trunks so Broly beating Goku, Vegita, Trunks and Piccolo proves what? If you are going to pass of what Goku stated on panel then why believe Broly could blow up the DB universe with one move?
How big a blast looks has nothing to do with how powerful it is either. Freezas death ball was bigger than any move Super Buu/ Gohan Buu did in the manga but does it mean he is more powerful? Broly never even fought a full powered SSJ2 never mind SSJ3.

Broli was killed by a wish, and the sun. The saiyans were just the people who pushed him into the sun.
No Goten wished for Broli to be defeated. Though I think the actual words were more akin to asking for help to beat this monster. That's when Gokou came down, and Broli's blast suddenly stopped connecting with his huge energy ball to keep it's power going. And then because he couldn't power the ball anymore they were able to break through and plow him into the sun which is what killed him because he blocked the Kamehameha from all three. He was just knocked to the sun.

Brolly is similar to a strong SS3 with endless endurance.
Comparing brute force, Brolly vers Majin Buu would have been an interesting fight, but buu would have probably just turned him into candy or absorbed him ( that would have been interesting and probably been unstoppable by all except SS5 Gogeta) and been done with it.
Keep in mind that there are weaker SS2 forms and stronger SS2 forms.
Goku's SS3 form was equal to Majin Buu before he become Kid buu. If it wasn't for Majin Buu being so drained from all the previous fights, Goku wouldn t have won.
Brolly seems to have a never-ending energy supply and the story does imply that on multiple occasions.
Majin Buu does have limited energy supply, its just HUGE in comparason to almost any other charector in the series. You are also told that in the story on multiple occasions.
I forget his name but the evil Shenron is much stronger than either Buu or Brolly.
SS4 by Goku or Vegeta could take out Brolly as long as Brolly didn't blow up the planet first.
SS5 Goku or Vegeta would tear Brolly to pieces as long as they killed him. Understand this...short of knocking him unconscious or killing him Brolly can not be stopped.
A sayian with a power level of 2000 can blow up a planet by damaging it.
A SS with a power level of 3,000,000 can easily blow up a planet. (cell was around 5 mill at the end)
SS2 at 50,000,000 can instantly incinerate a planet (AKA , or at 300 million Cell)
Gohan was 325,000,000 at the End of the Cell Games
SS3 at 500,000,000 can take out a galaxy
SS2 Vagetto was 550,000,000
Kid buu was 650,000,000
Using everyone elses strength to augment his ownGoku's Chaou Genkidama to kill buu was rated 700,000,000
SS4 Goku was estimated to be at 950,000,000
