That's the thing with versus like this. The two universes they're in are depicted totally different so it makes it impossible to tell who would be more powerful 🙁

yeah but if this is a who is a more bad ass it would be sessh, byakuya doesnt ever full on fight wich is anoying he just stands there and flash steps and then uses his bankai when he has to, sesshomaru actually fights and is way cooler

this is a RIDICULOUS mismatch. seshomaru is stronger, faster, more skilled, more intelligent, more durable, more agile and has FAR superior techniques than byakuya. do not judge him based on the ANIME, he is FAR stronger by the end of the manga, having gained bakkusaiga and surpassed his father. his hell move, will one shot most bleechers.

I completely 100% agree. Sesshomaru is stated to have Herculean strength (and that was with one arm and before he had reached his pinnacle). One swing from him would knock Byakuyas sword from his hand. And like I said before his energy whip has been shown to be fast enough to knock bullets away with a casual swipe of his hand (the bullets were coming at him from all around). So he has to heave hand eye coordination to match any sword speed from Byakuya. Add in his demonic Aura and poison gas and Byakuya is going to have a hard time fighting near him.

With his original sword he could resurrect 100 souls with a single swipe (or kill any spiritual being from the other side with one swipe). With Tokijin he could kill 100 demons with a single swipe (or more if he used his dragon ability). With the sword he made from his own demonic power (he is the only daiyokai to ever create a sword in such a way), he could cause anything organic he hit to decay. It also prevented any regeneration, and the only way to stop the decay was to cut off th infected part before it spread. Also he had the ability with Tensaiga to open a portal directly to hell that sucked anyone near it into Hell. So, even if we took Sesshomaru at the beginning of the manga/anime he could could Byakuya with a single swipe (he killed demonic spirit Gods with it with a single swipe).

are you talking about bakkusaiga? thats his ultimate sword, and possibly the ONLY thing more powerful than that is black tessaiga or the shikon no tama.

Yea. The Shikon no Tama is the only thing immune to it. It is the most powerful weapon though. It's supposed to be 10x stronger than tessaiga. It's said he surpassed his father in power by creating a sword without having it forged from a fang, something no other demon had done before (actually there might be one other sword like that). But yea I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be at least ten times stronger than the tessaiga.

Bakusaiga can't harm the shikon no tama. it can harm naraku. But no demonic powered attack can hurt the shikon no tama. Also, I don't think the black tessaiga would do well against Sesshomaru. He's shown he can go into hell and beat the devil down. :-P

but black tessaiga's final attacks WERE hurting naraku fused with the shikon no tama while sesshomaru himself admitted that his similar attacks werent scrathing him.

Eh. I still think Bakusaiga is stronger. black tessaiga is still just power based from Inuyashas father. Sesshomaru has reached a power level well above his apparently (as shown by the fact he created a sword out of his own demonic power). I think Black tessaiga was just more effective for that particular fight. In an all out brawl of which sheer power would be measured Bakusaiga is at least 10 times stronger than Tessaiga. And Inuyashas meidou attack is a weak version of the one sesshomaru was able to do correct?

have you read the last three chapters? true the main meido zengutsuha attacks was weaker and still cudnt damage naraku, just like bakkusaiga. but then inuyasha gets pissed as hell and his meido zengetsuha changes and it looks like a friggin black and white spinning galaxy is hitting naraku and THAT is the attack that starts damaging thr shikon no tama fused naraku.

yea i vaguely recall all that. I don't have the last few chapters. I just read them a few months back. I'll have to get them and read them again 🙂
