Michael Bay has stated recently that the IMAX edition of the movie will have longer fight scenes. They were recorded using an IMAX camera, so those scenes will utilize the entire IMAX screen. Those that don't have an IMAX theater around them wi probably have to wait for the dvd release.

Michael Bay is as good then as saying:
"I'll charge you full price at multiplexes, for watching an inferior cut of the movie."
Rip off.
Don't sweat it, apparently the IMAX version is less than half a minute longer than the regular version.
20 seconds of "IMAX camera footage" is no big deal.
And besides, I thought you hated these movies. What do you care? 😛

It's only 4 more dollars, at least where I live. And they're not charging you for a different version of a movie. They're charging you for the IMAX experience.
well over here in England, it's £15.90 - equivalent $25.44 - which is stupid considering a normal ticket costs around £7 - $11.20.
Over double the price...

Wow, that's a huge discrepancy in price, that's not right.
Sorry. 🙁
Over here, it's $10.00 and $14.00, respectively.
