Can someone confirm if the genres these directors fall under are similar (albeit limited) category? *thinks Titanic* Oh! Never mind.

Haven't seen all their movies... votes Speilberg 😄

And Ridley Scott.

wow so many tough choices, but I have to stick with Ridley Scott. He's got one hell of an eye and imagination. Love his cinematic expertise 🙂
Legend and Alien are examples of my opinion.

Tough choice. Either Quentin Tarentino or Tim Burton.

The best from the List is Steven Speilburg then Ridley Scott

nah...James Cameron and Steven Speilberg

Obviously Stanley Kubrick. He inspired all the directors mentioned above.

My favorite is M. Night Shamaylan

tim burton, speilberg, gorge lucas tim is my fav right now

Hey, where's Tim Burton?

Oops, theres a big miss. Burton should defintaly be there.

Holy shit!

Tim Burton should "definetly be there" yet the legendary Stanly Kubrick shouldn't?

I thing Quentin should be there, but since he was not and since I hate voting for the infamous "other" I chose speilberg.

yea where was burton!!!! hes my fave!!!

Tarrantino has directed 4 movies.........yeah.....I don't believe that qualifies him to be put on the same list as legendary directors.

hmmm doesn't matter if burton or kubrick were there........i still would have voted for Spielberg.
The man is a genius..........his range of subject matter is incredible.
and yes he does have a penchant for aliens and WWII movies.

I agree Speilberg is the man..................

Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Jaws..........if those were the only two movies he had ever directed, he would still be the best director ever.

George lucas all the way directed the best movie ever

If you want to talk range, Kubrick stands on a level all his own.

Francis ford Coppola, Spilberg (hes great because he demonstrated that he can direct a film of any genre and make it good) and of course Emir Kusturica!

eyes wide shut was pure unadulterated trash lol... it would have been better as a short story
