Sentry vs Wonder Woman

Come on, your going to have to do better than this. At least try. He stood there and took a punch from Thing without flinching. He stood there and took a shot from a train that the Hulk grabbed and swung at him without flinching. He casually took shots from WWH without defending himself while laughing. He traded punches with Genis that were thrown with enough force to shatter planets (while they were both holding back).

As for reflex speed, I suppose everybody is waiting for one of those panels that DC uses in every other issue where the Sentry is running around an opponent and the artist draws 25 various fists. Its just rediculious that nobody can use common sense around here and figure it out for themselves that this guy is stupid fast. He plucks bullets out of the air from feet away when shot at point blank at somebodys head, but people than argue that he flew towards the gun. He flew across the world and dismantles a situation before somebody could go to the bathroom. Yeah, he flies fast, but cripes, he had to do something when he got there too. The art of deduction on this board is weak at best.

Another thing to bring up is when Sentry and Wolverine fought. Wolverine is said to be one if not the best H2H fighter in Marvel, but hey, he couldnt even come close to striking Sentry. It was embarrassing on Wolverines part, but yet Batman spars with WW. Let me guess though, WW allows Batman to tag her because its only practice. You people wear me out around here sometimes.

why is it on kmc that if a DC character fails to defeat a powerful villain then that must mean that the villain is unstoppable and super powerful. or when a DC character beats a planet destroying villain that must mean that they are more powerful than the villain and it is considered a high feat! but when a marvel character (sentry) completely shrugs off and embarrass a planet destroying villain(terrax) it means that it is a low showing for the villain! and it wasnt an impressive feat!

people always ask why most of the members on here are marvel biased! but the vast majority are DC fanboys! especially the loads of people that have joined recently! you cant discount a feat from a character just because they are from marvel when you would think the feat was great coming from a dc character!

terrax is not a loser! just because he has had a couple of low showings, people assume he is a punk! he is stil a herald who destroys planets with little effort! and it was a good feat for sentry!

i DO think that WW would win this fight! i just wish people wouldnt dismiss sentry and his feats just because he sucks! not liking a character shouldnt take away from there powerlevel

WWH was ok! i was expecting somthing more tho! it was more the writing that was bad! i am beginning to hate the sentry! he is completely useless, he usualy causes more trouble than he fixes! either that or he runs away! he is a complete waste of a character

I did a bit of background on Terrax and his power level has been all over the place. It seems in the first issue of Sentry though that his "fight" with Sentry was put there to establish how Sentry walks over what would otherwise be planetary threats.

I agree that the things Sentry was doing even in the first issue required a high degree of overall super speed, not just flight speed. In general, it was like, "Okay, fifteen seconds to reach a site one-fourth of the world away and save a whole bunch of people from a burning building. You must get there and get the task done within fifteen seconds because you must then proceed to..."

But that's Sentry at the high-end. Using Wonder Woman sparring againt Batman, on the other hand, is ridiculous, especially when you just gave a speech about common sense. She's been shown to have lightspeed reflexes. Might she be slowing down intentionally to spar with a friend of hers who couldn't touch her if she used her speed? Hmm. Let me think. What's the common sense answer here?"

i am slightly concerned that with the intro of blue marvel that they are just gonna leave sentry in the background and hell end up like wonderman! i always get ready to like the sentry and then he dissapoints again! maybe dark reighn will be his turning point!

back on point! if sentry could use all his powers and was not such a pussy i think he could take a strong majority! but the way he is currently being written spiderman could prob kick his ass

I was more so questiong the reasoning as to why people think WW's just way to fast for even Sentry to fight. People know Sentrys fast as hell, but they refuse to acknowledge it due to their hatred of the character or even Marvel itself. The excuses are hysterical and you and I both know that until Marvel has a writier and artist create a panel of Sentry throwing hundreds of fists at one time at a character then everybody will continue to say he is incapable of speedblitzing people or fighting against fast characters and its BS.

One other thing about WW. I've been reading comics for 36 years and i'm sitting here trying to think of her rogue gallery. Am I correct in stating that her main villian is the Cheetah? The Cheetah for gods sake. If thats so, I rest my case.

Yeah like Aquaman being able to lift a city block, the Flash (a guy who can run fast) being jacked up so much that people question if Jesus could beat him, and all yeah, WW given everything under the sun to make her powerful enough to be interesting in which they failed.

Look people, do I think Sentry can beat WW? Its possible. Do I think WW can beat Sentry? Its possible. I just hate it when people bring up the fact that she's way too fast to even be fought. That and then you throw in the tiara, the lasso, and the braclets and its a wonder she even bothers. Oh ok. I see they've been throwing a lot of the mythical characters her way. Thats cool but Darkseid, Black Mary, Super Woman, Queen Of Fables, and the White Martians are kind of iffy though. You would think a character that been around as long as WW would have a better rogue gallery or a little more sound.

her rogue gallery is kinda crap, but hardly any characters have a great one
