That was just an application of his power. That's like saying that just because a telepath once deleted someone's mind, that's all they can do. Sentry has used TP many times and in that case he chose to remove Hulk's rage.

I'm not disputing Sentry has telepathy and can manipulate people's emotions and memories and the like. But the odds of it succeeding on Diana who's been stated to be immune to mental manipulation and in addition has the means to dispel any and everything that isn't the truth, which includes psychic/emotional/illusonary means, I don't think it's a likely tactic to bring up.
If Sentry beats Diana, it's going to be through direct physical means if anything.

The Terrax that the New Warriors beat in their first issue was a weakened version, he had to be in contact with the earth to maintain his form, they beat him by lifting him off the ground until he disintegrated.
When they fought him a second time the Warriors needed the FF loaded up with Reed's special weapons to stand a chance, Psionex were also helping (well Impulse and Mathamanic!)
Back on track, I haven't really read enough Wonder Woman to speak with confidence but as far as Sentry goes, he has enough high end showings to put him high herald imo.
