the feat is quantifiable using REAL world physics. Since mcduffie was using c as a base we must then use the real world mass of the moon. He made a mistake.

True. 81 billion looks to be a clear error.

That's a poor syllogism. No, we don't have to. McDuffie said it. It's obviously what he meant. The moon is traveling at 7,614,000 kph towards Superman, and he's heading towards it at 'just under' the speed of light...and it happens to weigh 81 billion tons, according to Batman. Why start with c when c isn't involved? Relativity is, yes. But the speed of light is not.

We can't just assume so without anything else to go by.

It was made of energy. 😐 Exact duplicate my ass.

Get back on topic everyone.

If said moon is a mirror representation of our moon, then it only make sense that it would be in the quintillion range, not the billion range. Everything else is to scale why not the moon?

There's nothing that suggests its any different except what could well be a typo via Batman's statement.

right.

ds gets two pieced. 😄

Mass: 7.347 7 × 10 (22th power) KG (0.012 3 Earths)

Unless the writer says later in an interview that he made an error it stands as is. Remember comics don't have to make sense.

Quan, there is a bare minimum of logic we have to accept. 😬

One of those is physics to a certain degree and real world weights. Crack open a physics book or google it. Mcduffie ****ed up.

We have to accept what the writer gives us. if the comic is released and the editor doesn't catch it we can't dismiss it.

81 billion tons is a mountain or something, it's a f*** up that is easily overlooked by the actual moon being the object the feat was based upon.

how the editor missed it is the weird thing. 😬

but even that is small potatoes considering what hulk did to that asteroid.

So if there's a comic featuring Thanos that shows him getting killed by Wolverine or Black Adam being beat down by Tim Drake, it's ok? Great, thanks for clearing that up. 😄

Exactly. The weight of the moon doesn't matter and doesn't comp[are at all to something twice the size of earth.

If it's canon what can we do. If it's bs someone will retcon it.

Forum rules say we ignore bullshit under the rule about PIS. 😐

Size isn't always a factor in things like this. A solid metal ball the size of a baseball is easily heavier and more denser than a hollow Styrofoam ball with a six foot diameter. Which would be easier to break with a punch?

^ too bad asteroids are solid rock/iron.
