But Claymore is by definition just a lesser Berserk.

*sniff*

I'm reading the Water 7 Arc...after reading Skypiea, it's like a can of fresh air. It's sooo good compared to the arc before it. T.T

Whatever, sociopathic females with large swords FTW I guess.

Was Skypiea that bad? It's been a while since I read it

It was bad to me. Some might like it but I didn't.

Of course my main problems with it were...how much actually got accomplished in the arc that contributed to the story? Robin read the bell thing and got some info on Roger and that weapon...they got some gold...and Usopp got more toys for his arsenal.

I can't think of anything else that actually got done that contributed to the story. Maybe if the arc had the crew interacting with Robin and getting used to her it might have helped? Maybe if Enel was more of a important character within the actual world of One Piece it might have helped? Whatever the case, I don't feel like it accomplished much and the flashback miniarc made me want to throw my computer. We spent several chapters exploring about characters that we already dead and had no real impact. This annoyed the shit out of me.

But there were things I like. Enel was entertaining, I think Gan Fall was cool, and I did like the design of the country...to an extent. But Water 7 needed one chapter to completely show it up so now I hate it more.

But that was just my two cents. Some might like it, I did not. Weakest arc in One Piece so far in my opinion. Maybe it will change when I get to this Hodi guy? 😛

The current arc is so far the weakest of all.

What bothered me is Pell's ****ing dad surviving an El Thor.

Along with... Everyone else.

Jesus Christ Oda, what the ****?

Also, Enel was by far the most awesome thing in the Skypiea arc.

I know. Even Pagaya survived. That was just stupid.

I didn't care for the fact that Luffy could beat Enel with relatively little difficulty. I mean, I get the element rock paper scissors but come on.

I was more annoyed with Luffy somehow absorbing what was by far the most destructive attack in Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece with a golden ball.

Somehow.

Conductive=BLACK HOLE OF ENERGY apparently.

Yeah that was stupid. No matter how conductive that ball might have been, it would have been melted/blown up by that attack.

No shit, though.

IIRC the calcs for the size alone of the second Raigou put it at 150 billion meters cubed.

Manliness.

Man...I guess after Crocodile, Enel would at least be much stronger. But Luffy didn't have nearly as hard a time. The challenge should always be more difficult than the last. X(

Except maybe in the case of Wapol. He was kind of a joke anyway.

Luffy to be fair also has a DF which completely counters Enel's.

Enel casually stomped every other character in the arc, and to date is the only character who has destroyed an island (He managed this in his backstory on his home island as well, without Maxim).

Enel also introduced what latter became known as Haki with his mantra. Though other Skypien folk did that too.

Wonder why his moon friends haven't came back to try and invade Earth or something 😐

I was liking Rob Lucci until the Devil Fruit power was shown. Now he just looks silly. :T

Sure but he's still Lucci and therefore awesome 😄

Lucci is indeed a pretty cool guy.

Hm, Aura, have a favorite Devil Fruit so far?

Well since I like the element of Fire, I like Ace's(blanking on the name). Second would probably be Enel's(his is stronger).

Mera Mera and Goro Goro! Wiki b!tches.

But yeah, I like fire. :3

Alabasta is my favorite arc, with Water 7/Enies arc as my 2nd favorite.

Goro Goro is my favorite myself.

Of course the most destructive Devil fruit is the majority favorite.

I prefer the Pika Pika no Mi personally despite it's stupid name. Moving at lightspeed is awesome Yo! 😎

I like litninz though.

Well the ability to bust islands is pretty neat too.
