Kain runs a gauntlet, with a twist.

Argument from anecdotal evidence fallacy ftw.

Does Nintendo Guide describe it in gameplay terms, or storyline plot terms? Because storyline plot > gameplay. If a nintendo guide says it will fill up your Mana Bar up forever, but in the plot it says it lasts for 3 days. We go with the canon story.

Voyeur
"Chateau Romani, a vintage drink that will strengthen your magic so that it will never run out unless you warp back in time." CANON quote from the official Nintendo Player's Guide of Majora's Mask.

Doesn't say magic bar. Doesn't say magic meter. It just says Magic, as in the driving force used behind the majority of Link's items or Magic buffs etc.

I see no gameplay wording in there, and in the game it says nothign specific, as Nintendo loves to do it that way. Vague descriptions are part fo their MO.

So, Kain didn't get his "actual" heart ripped out? But the heart of darkness.

Sorry? that is his heart...the heart is called "the heart of darkness" by humans because it used to be the heart of Yanos Audren, one of the first of the vampire race. One of the ancients.

he dies at 1 of course.

Yeah, I saw the cutscene, nasty. *thump, thump, thump* How is that is heart, but it was someone else's heart?

It used to be someone elses heart

You know what, I believe that if Kain somehow gets past God Kratos, he will crush Link, and then stop at Dante. I don't think he could beat Sephiroth becuase of how fast he is, and Kain also beats Kefka.

Sorry for the double post:

Kain loses to Kratos
Kain beats Link
Kain loses to Dante
Kain loses to Seph
Kain beats Kefka

You couldnt debate any of your arguments so ill just leave you to your opinion.

Lol...So Kain is going to lose to Kratos, Dante, and Sephiroth, but beat Kefka, who is the most powerful character in this thread?

Humorous.

Kefka is all about magic and Kain regulates it.

omg, Regulation via Balance.

there is no canon proof the has that much of an extreme over it. When the word balance and regulate come together in context, it means he must maintain a neutrality where one can't become stronger then the next.

Nothing shows he ever uses this balance regulation to tap and pump up his own magic, or to rid every single use of magic across the land that other people use. So, there's no canon facts that state he has that much of extreme.

Besides iirc, he never even took up the job, he ignored his duties, even if he could, when did he take time to learn it? Even then, guardian of the pillar of BALANCE that regulates magic. Not, "lol i cans have all teh majikcs?" -.-

Kain couldn't take Kefka's magic, but he could shut his magic down. At that point, Kefka would fall out of the sky like a fly, ripe for the slaughter. At least... that's the theory.

Failure.

"The role of the Balance Guardians was a reglatory one; their magic influenced the regulation of the other magic in Nosgoth."

a theory indeed, and nothing proves it. That's bogus up the ass.

"shutting off", taking, removing, etc. it isn't regulation via balance. Ying & Yang, equal, 50/50, etc. When do you ever see him use this any way? Ever? when is it stated that specifically Kain can do this. I know it says that is the job of the guardian of the pillar of BALANCE, to REGULATE magic, but when do you honestly ever see HIM, KAIN, specifically do this? ....iirc you don't. because he never took up those duties.

and before BT comes in here spewing shit and trying to debunk that. The magical properties of how it exists and flows in Nosgoth differs from Materia, or other types of magic essence the other characters in their worlds use. Each universe and game has it's own specifics of rules and regulations about magic. They don't intertwine and share a universe confine.

I don't think you ever see ANYONE do it. The whole regulation thing is kinda featless, but still.

You're not going to convince BT he is wrong of anything if you plan on debating him.
