Magic won't work to well against SMP. In addition, he is faster so RKT will be assaulted by someone who is much stronger, faster, and durable. RKT CAN'T win in a close combat fight. He would need to keep his distance to he can try and use his magic. However, he magic won't be destroying Prime to much(high resistance)(Mordru's attack tickled him).
Maybe if RKT can BFR SMP then he can win. Without he very little chance.

RKT can use mental attacks, time manipulation, straight up energy attacks(capable of wrecking the detroyer),etc. All of which dont involve casting spells on prime directly. RKT has no reason to go into a straight up phyical confrontation against prime. He also has extremely powerful forcefield and vortexes which he can use to protect himself( even as regular thor he contained a blast that would have destroyed 1/5th of the universe). He ha much more options to choose from than prime in regards to attack and defence. BFR is certainly not his only way of winning.

SMP is also faster, and imo would attack and not just stand there. Prime is a physical character and will stick to that.

I think SMP is more durable then Destroyer. He was able to take a Universe Destroyer and only get KO'ed. I have a feeling that if the destroyer took a shot like that(point blank range), he would have been disintegrated.SMP is also faster, and imo would attack and not just stand there.
