No he advocates going by the high-end feats like, you know, in the rules. What you advocate, however well meaning, results in nothing but "Whatever character I want to win wins because I say so."

Superman vs. the Hulk. Hey Superman doesn't use his speed all the time. There are stories where he doesn't use it. And the Hulk did break that planet that one time. There you go, Hulk wins 'cause that's the result I want.

And that is basically all debates here are and always will be as long as the rules are only peripherally enforced at best.

I suppose we could go with the lowest showings of every character but I doubt most people want to do that.

We could go with "average" showings which seems to be more what you might advocate but the problem is "average showing" becomes whatever the debater wants it to be to get the win for his favorite.

High-end feats are the only way you're ever going to get all the characters involved in the fight on a level playing field without bias in favor of a certain character. I'd prefer it be about what the characters are shown to be capable of rather than getting a majority opinion in favor of a character, an opinion that is meaningless if it doesn't evaluate both characters by the same standards.

I have been here for about 3 or 4 years, and the VS section was what brought me here. The debating is not the problem, nor is it our tendency to make fun of eachother. The problem is that you mods did not do your jobs (and I mean no offense to Bada/Raoul, but more to the likes of Tron/Paola, and only because they were not around. If they had been, I'm sure this would have not been a problem) and we had so many socks running around that now sad to say but KMC see's a sock in every single new poster that comes around. I blame that on you, the mods. On Raz because he is the head. Allowing them to come back OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again was not our problem, but we dealt with it the best we could. The paranoia that we have, and the fact that we call everyone a sock is a direct result of your failure to do your job properly.

So again, the forum being shut down? Direct result of you not being able to moderate, to do the job you were given. It is alot easier to complain about the behavior of others than to do your job isnt it?

Maybe Starscream was right.....

I'll add my voice to what others have said. In criticizing the moderation or lack of it, I am not criticizing Badabing or Raoul. I think they are doing a good job, the best they can within what they are allowed to do. Okay, honestly, I'd give people a lot less leeway to go on and on trolling and ignoring the rules but that's neither here nor there. They clearly are interested in the vs. forum. As you look at other forums, at least the ones that want genuine debates like cbr, they have the mods for that specific forum having banning power. So again, I think Bada and Raoul do what they can within their power. I'm sure they hate having to go to the higher mods knowing those higher mods don't even want to deal with it.

Blair, you were always one of my favorites. Throw off the yolk of oppression. These Moderators only have power here because you lot let them. They are elitist, they are mainly after 'epower', not realizing epower is illusion. I created this paranoia not to bring this forum down but to free your minds. Your mind was always free anyway. However, some others were sheep and I have always found 'herd behaviour a comical thing'.

"herd behavior is a comical thing' eh? My problem with naming anyone a sock is that I know that if you are smart enough, you can impersonate anyone on the internet. So, while I may know you want me to believe you are the person you referenced by saying that, I have no proof on the subject. I thank you for the kind words however.

With that said, I doubt anyone naming themselves "the chosen one" as you put it is truly capable of doing the job. Most people who name themselves first are just in it for the same e-powered kick that the Mods have. Not that it will do any good whatsoever thanks to the way the Mods run things, but I would be interested in hearing who the people would want as a new Mod/leader to help with the mess the KMC forums are in. It would be rather enlightening to find who others were willing to follow.

You always were smarter than the average poster, trust me though ten people could cause a Rebellion here. You even suggested something similar in an earlier post. It would just mean a few troll treads in each of the key forums. You have been here long enough to remember the havoc one or two posters caused doing exactly that.

Two of my favorites. I don't believe either of you are retarded enough to be mods.

Guy is a great choice for a mod

Leonidas are great debaters when it comes to Forums.

I don't believe either would be much different from the mods we have no though, whether that's good or bad is a matter of preference.
