The problem isn't the moderation it's how we react when we disagree with someone. The number of reports, the in-fighting, the hatred, etc. needs to just go away. If this place is going to survive we have to change it. This is our problem and we need to fix it.That means everybody.
Haha, as 'fangirl' I own you.

Why the let this topic stay open? Its clearly not, a versus topic.
Why the “Attention”, thread only serves to show case the staff's frustration, feeding the members the idea of a black omen.

I wonder? 🤨

Because it isn't April yet. Because the complaints are legitimate. Because the Mods have a thread of their own up. Because this has come up before.
One of the issues to surface is the possibility that a new moderator may help to regulate the forum more thoroughly. With luck, this will at least temporarily quell the impending closure.
I'd personally like to make the decision of a new mod a bit more public than it has been in the past. Not public applications or anything stupid like that, but just an active dialogue about certain members and the possibility of them being a mod. Let me know your thoughts, and bat around names if you feel like it. As always, the decisions about the forum are the mods' alone, but your comments are considered while deciding.
