Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward don't claim to do anything innovative. It just does it better than anyone else. The online aspect is 2nd to none. I don't think it's that difficult to understand that their focus isn't primarily on the single player mission which most people who own the game will play through a couple of times on the harder difficulty setting and then never play it again. So your comparison if Uncharted 2's single player game with MW2's is a bit pointless.

Then there's the fact that they're 2 completely different genres of game anyway

I'm not sure about everyone else.. but the reason I loved CoD4 was because it was great.. and then came world at war (which I personally felt was suck-tacular in comparison).. and so here we are with MW2 coming out.. and I had my doubts til I watched a mere 2 or 3 videos on it

I only preordered the regular copy though... hardened and veteran edition were retarded expensive

World at War was tolerable, at best, solely because, in my opinion, of the efforts of Gary Oldman and Keifer Sutherland as voice actors. I liked their performance.

MW2 promises more action, and, most importantly, the elaboration of modern warfare tactics and abilities (underwater demolition, mountain tactics, special forces, etc.) that were not present in COD4.

Each Gamestop has a countdown clock for the release of this game. They must be really looking forward to this either to have fun playing it or make big bucks when swarms of CoD fans come running in to buy it.

There is a lot more to World at War then just the single-player. It has co-op both story and zombies. Multiplayer also has another zombie mod similar to Counter-strike source. How many map packs and gamemode variety have we seen for Call of Duty 4? CoD5 has far more replayability imo.

So you loved CoD4 because...it...was..great and disliked CoD5 because...it..was..not. Why? What are you comparing? Gameplay, Story, Multiplayer, or Graphics?

No..in fact they take more skill to kill someone with. Anyone can run around with a p90 and mass spam grenades and end with a score of 120-15. Try that with a bolt-rifle.

the call of duty series is fun for the most part but it's no where near a brain stimulant. it's more like a boredom quencher.

it's a linear run and gun game with good graphics and a generic stories, that's it.

it's not thoughtful game but something you pick up and have retarded fun with. especially with friends on split screen.

not saying the game sucks, it's just not a deep game.
