STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Descent

That would be returning to your apartment, as that is behind you.

I will first look inside carefully then go there to check since I sensed someone.

Returning to your apartment, you do not see anyone. You sense them outside, beyond your walls.

With the drawn lightsabre still in hand I will take a peek outside. Do I sense danger?

You had your blaster. Do you want to switch to lightsaber?

And you do not sense immediate danger, but something is not quite comfortable about this.

No, actually I will stay with he blaster, was a good idea to begin with. Can I use sense to find out more?

Just that feeling of discomfort and the fact that there is someone clinging to the outside of your building.

Going to look out the window?

Yeah. At the full knowledge that my head might explode any second.

It is dark outside, but having sensed this person prior, you know where to look and so are not entirely surprised to find a man in full-body blast armor clinging to the wall with one hand and directing some arm-mounted weapon at you with the other...

I will aim my blaster at him and yell "Who are you?!"

He does not appear to be interested in conversation.

Can I get what schticks you want functioning?

Then it will be down to initiative.

Gunslinger
Close Quarter Gunman
Forward Guard

Here we go, then!

The bounty hunter gets the drop on you, having already aimed his weapon as you swivel yours about (and having beat your dice roll for intiative, of course). He triggers it and a column of energy jumps from his bracer... but promptly fails to roll any successes! It misses you and scorches the wall beneath the window.

Your shot is not terribly impressive either, unfortunately. The bounty hunter has Eye of the Storm, so your first success is discarded. Gunslinger gets you your shot, though, and a bolt glances off of the bounty hunter's armor... for 2 damage.

BOUNTY HUNTER FIGHT, START OF TURN 2

Wall

Hunter (G 9): 2

Window

Con (G 8): 1/1/0 [Gunslinger/Close Quarters Gunman/Forward Guard]

----

I tap CQG and Gunslinger and attack him in close combat, then swap out Gunslinger for Block and switch to my lightsabre for next round (having to drop my blaster I think)

Attacking him in close combat requires Con to go out the window and onto the precarious ledge just outside it, which the hunter is not even using. Want to do so?

If I don't sense danger in doing so, I will.

Well obviously it is a dangerous situation...

Con climbs out onto the precarious ledge ahead of his foe, getting a success on his Agility roll. As he does so, closing with his target, he pumps a single solid shot out of his heavy pistol. With CQC, Con gets extra dice and pulls off six successes, catching the hunter in the chest. Normally you think a cauterized hole would have been blown through his chest, but that blast armor is thick. 7 damage!

The hunter responds by releasing his handhold and hovering backward on his jetpack and releasing another wave of energy toward you. On three successes, he smashes you back against the wall with a brief yet agonizing shock for 6 damage. You feel your reflexes slowed and one die is removed from your pool.

In one smooth motion, despite your sudden jolt, you holster your blaster pistol with one hand and draw your lightsaber with the other.

BOUNTY HUNTER FIGHT, START OF TURN 3

Wall

Hunter (G 9): 11 (using jetpack, away from wall)

Con (LS 13 / FP 7): 3/3/6 [Block/Close Quarters Gunman/Forward Guard]

----

I will attack him with my lightsabre and swap in charge for CQG

Hovering away from the wall makes him unattainable. Charge would help if you had something behind him to land on, which you do not as your apartment overlooks the street.

I will use Grip on him.
