Black Mask is too much complex and great to just be another regular mob boss like Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone. Black Mask would fit better if he was the main villain (or at least secondary villain) in a Batman movie. His character is all about wanting to watch the entire world burn and to see himself rise on top. He would fit better as a main villain.

i agree, but remember scarecrow and then the joker didn't origin stories either so nolan could go the same route if sionas is in TDKR

The origin is not the problem here. Even if they don't do his origin, Black Mask is still too deep and complex to not be the main villain. He would be watered down and not as big of a threat as in the comics if he wouldn't be the main villain.

i agree, but Nolan may not water him down and have him be portrayed the way he is in the comics

The general idea is that Batman and Catwoman will eventually team up to go against the League of Shadows headed up by Talia. Bane is either the muscle for Talia, or her love interest. JGL is expected to be an antagonist in the film that likely works with the League of Shadows.My personal thoughts are that I'd prefer Catwoman to stay as a villain rather than a partner, and I don't want Bane to simply be a muscle. If he is the "muscle" for the League of Shadows, I'm hoping that it is part of a larger plan by him where he is deceiving them for hi own purposes, thus betrays them and becomes the main villain even if he doesn't appear to be so throughout much of the movie.

BTW, here is the trailer for Bronson. Based on true events of one of the most popular inmates. If Hardy delivers like this, the next Batman movie will be filled with great performances. Anne Hathaway is also becoming a great actress as well. Five bucks says she will be better than Michelle P.

That's an interesting direction but there are quite a bit of notable character/villains in the film. If done well it'll be amazing, if not it'll be catastrophic, but in Nolan I trust.

I watched that the weekend following the announcement that he is Bane. That movie got me really excited to see his upcoming performance. He is one of those actors that truly becomes the character. For example, Liam Neeson pretty much played himself in Batman Begins, while Heath Ledger BECAME Joker. I expect Hardy to become Bane and not just be him in name.
Btw, Bronson the movie is just ok overall, but Hardy's performance was amazing.
