And @kris you have no idea what bats says to villains to get them to crack so don't make stuff up. Bats usually does that without anyone knowing what he actually says. We've seen what punisher dies and says to his victims... On panel.

Bats is either off panel or it's the bats whispers something and villain give in...

And a threat is only good if the victim believes that that antagonizer will carry through with the threat.
