"Then I opened the door, and I was like, 'OK, I'm going to go home now.' He followed me to the front door of the apartment, and as I opened the door to leave, he was leaning on the front door[frame]. And he was like, 'Are you sure you wanna go?' I said, 'Yes, good night,' and then I did leave."

it's all about "what happened on that bed", which is vague.
It's all in the original Buzzfeed article

"Rapp recalled this all happening — Spacey appearing at the door, coming into the room, picking him up, and putting him on the bed — in one clumsy action, with Spacey landing at a slight angle on top of him. He said Spacey “was, like, pressing into me,” and that he remembers Spacey “tightening his arms.” But while he can't recall exactly how long Spacey remained on top of him, Rapp said he was able to “squirm” away after a short period.

“It was a frozen moment,” Rapp said of the entire encounter, with a deep, exasperated sigh. “In terms of fight or flight or freeze, I tend to freeze.”

After pushing Spacey off him, Rapp remembered he was able to step into the bathroom and close the door."

It's seriously creepy shit, and Spacey using this as an opportunity to come out is a major misstep on his part (seriously, man, not the time or place), but Rapp seems to have laid it all out clearly enough for people to make up their own minds about what this means in a larger context

Not yet but it was being talked about like it was a crime on some site

if anyone is calling it a crime then they're retarded. however i only see people referring to it as creepy. i don't know how to feel about it. i mean...it's a knee.

according to some feminist logic. but that's retarded.

@scribble (quote function is full-broken)

i'm not questioning whether or not spacy was creepy and predatory in nature, but not convinced that it was sexual assault. not convinced that it wasn't either.

Well, yeah, it depends on your definition of sexual assault. A grope is creepy, but it's not assault.

You could quick quote that works fine

If a woman allows you to grab her genitalia, is that sexual assault or consentual foreplay?

Just use the quick-quote thing, man, it's so much easier imo, unless you have to chop up the other person's post to reply to different parts of it.

But yeah, I agree with you there fully, this is something where we need to wait and see if anything else comes out before making a judgement. It's not like with Weinstein where tonnes of women all come out at once with very similar stories, in that kind of a scenario a judgement is easy to make, in this case and many others, not so much

A completely out-of-nowhere and in no way consensual or solicited grope could definitely be considered assault

heard a story about a dr. that was sent to prison for rape.

the sex was consensual but the rape part was that he grabbed her breast during sex.

yep.

Shut up
