tbh i don't get this whole new post friends hating ross thing

some people are taking a tad too seriously

I've only ever watched through Friends once in my lifetime, never watched when i was younger because I hated these kinds of sitcoms (I watched more family based sitcoms: Home Improvement, Roseanne, 3rd Rock from the Sun, etc...)

Going through it in my adult life made me realize this these opinions of Ross on my own, I had no previous biases towards Ross

is a family based sitcom much different from a friends based sitcom

yes as one deals with the dynamic in a familial household situation while friends dealt with whiny relationship stuff

3rd Rock from the Sun might be my all time favorite sitcom

they've started showing it in the mornings on channel 4 so its always nice to wake up to

why don't you explain why there aren't any good 90s sitcoms in 2018

I like the sitcoms now-a-days

they're completely different from the formats we've seen and they're using single-camera set-ups more effectively and creatively (Without it having to be some sort of bullshit Modern Family-esque mockumentary nonsense)

what are some good modern sitcoms

Yeah I am impressed with modern sitcoms' single-cam usage, they get loads of interesting shots. Must take ages to film though
