I've only ever watched through Friends once in my lifetime, never watched when i was younger because I hated these kinds of sitcoms (I watched more family based sitcoms: Home Improvement, Roseanne, 3rd Rock from the Sun, etc...)

Going through it in my adult life made me realize this these opinions of Ross on my own, I had no previous biases towards Ross

dude just Sucks

Tbf the reason is because he's a nasty little entitled weasel I think

Him and Rachel ****ing deserve each other!

Ross is just not a good person

It makes sense why he ended up with Rachel then lol.

Joey's great though and so is Matt LeBlanc generally. Also Phoebe is best girl by a long shot

See!

If Friends was just Joey and Phoebe doing wacky things with Chandler occasionally popping in to be sarcastic I might watch it but otherwise NO DEAL

Bingo. Hell, didn't she accept a marriage proposal from one of his friends...while in the hospital about to give birth to his child?

Idk I never watched it much but that sounds exactly like what Female Ross would do

Yeah I am impressed with modern sitcoms' single-cam usage, they get loads of interesting shots. Must take ages to film though
I literally just had this whole thing written up about single-camera usage in modern sitcoms and how the mockumentary style went from a decent framing device (the office/Parks and Rec) to an overused framing device (Modern Family, for example).

Now some good sitcoms on today:

The Good Place, Brooklyn 99... I wanna say Master of None, but that's more of a drama-comedy than a sitcom... It's Always Sunny, Silicon Valley, Kimmy Schmidt, Last man on Earth, Curb Your Enthusiasm

ALL GREAT

My cousin made me watch it a LOT when I was 16 and aside from the odd joke I hated it so I made the decision that I would never watch it consciously again and I have upheld that decision ever since
