The simple truth is Hitler was a bi-polar drug addict. The combination of those two things messed him up. I'm not saying it created his hated, it just exacerbated and made him make bad decisions. He was literally on drugs every single day during WW2. We have his medical records from his doctor who kept detailed notes of every single day. He was hooked on meth and other things. And gave meth to the nazi soldiers to help them stay awake, etc.

He was in the right place at the right time and in a way we(the allies) helped sort of create him. Or rather, we created his path to power. After WW1 we put 100% of the blame on Germany for the war. Yet it was a bit more complicated and we f*cked up the German economy and made the people desperate enough to follow Hitler.
That's not absolving him or anyone else of what they did, but we need to look at our roles in how we shaped things and how we reacted.
