It's funny when people argue whether 1984 or Brave New World was more prescient. The real answer is: yes

I liked 1984 better I think. Not that that's the question. Brave New World was more overt in it's criticisms

There's a great line in "Community" during it's 1984 B Plot in which Subway Sandwiches "Corpo-Humanize" a person to literally waive his birth identity in order to live a life as the humane ideals of the entirety of Subway.

"It really awakened me in High School. I think kids should be forced to read it."

Everything I just said was crazy but again that's only a B Plot in the show
