You can have breakfast anytime, it refers to foods associated with breakfast.

You can have cereal for breakfast or cereal for lunch but cereal at lunchtime doesn't make it breakfast

For example at mcdonalds u can order breakfast all day, what they mean is u can order off the breakfast menu all day

Cos it can be delicious. Try having eggs over-medium, hash browns and sourdough toast at noon. You'll be amazed. Breakfast foods at lunch.

You can say "I had an all-day-breakfast for lunch" because that's the name of the meal, it just has breakfast in its name, but you didn't "eat breakfast", you just had sausages, egg, etc. for lunch, and its name is an "all-day-breakfast"

Breakfast / brunch / lunch / dinner etc. are set meal times

Basically if Rob's meal is described on the menu as 'breakfast' then he can have a "breakfast for lunch", but that just means that he's having eggs, hash browns and toast for lunch, not that he's having the set meal breakfast for lunch, the meal is just named 'breakfast'

The meal itself is called a Ploughman's lunch, so eating it at 8am doesn't turn it into a Ploughman's breakfast, it remains a Ploughman's lunch, you just ate it not at lunch

Same here. I feed them those Fancy Feast cheddar cheese delights that come in little 3 ounce cans.

Of course with my calico cat passing Blackie is the only one I have left that likes canned food. The other one (a female, my late cat's daughter) likes only dry food. Probably why she is so overweight I guess.

Everyone can relax, I've decided it will be breakfast for lunch. /done
