Of course with my calico cat passing Blackie is the only one I have left that likes canned food. The other one (a female, my late cat's daughter) likes only dry food. Probably why she is so overweight I guess.

I use sheba and rarely give dry food because I've found she pukes less. Sometimes I'll mix in a very small amount of dry. Though I do sometimes get fancy feast too, I order from Chewy usually.

Most vets will tell you a dry food diet is healthier, not sure why your cat would be puking over it.
