Okay so there is actually a procedural cop show where the guy has a super power and it is enhanced smell. The show is called "Sniffer". This exists.

It made me think of the "Always Sunny" episode where they write a movie with Dolph Lungren starring as a scientist/detective who can smell crime before it happens. That would be an awesome show.
